Zsa Zsa Gabor’s husband has  sparked a row with the fossilising actress’s only daughter by saying he wants his wife to become a mother again using his sperm and an egg donor.

Prince Frederik von Anhalt, the 94-year-old Hungarian-born former film star’s ninth husband, said he went to a Beverly Hills clinic this week and gave sperm and blood samples.

Von Anhalt, who wants a surrogate mother to give birth using a donated egg, said the couple had always wanted a baby and discussed the matter again when his wife had her leg partially amputated in January.

“We talked a lot about it, saying ‘Remember how we always wanted a baby, and now it’s too late.’ And I said to her, ‘Well maybe its not too late’,” he told an AFP reporter, adding that the whole whole process should cost about $100,000 :: Read the full article »»»»

As with most things that have carried through the 20th century – Valentines Day – has little resemblance to it’s original intention. Valentines Day 2011 is going to be trashier, more commercial than ever. I’ve decided to go the other-way, I’m going to celebrate Every Bad relationship I’ve had – seen or heard of . . .

Just like Ibsen’s Nora and Torvald, we have all wondered what the f_ck we were thinking, all had those awkward relationships or horrid endings to les choses du cœur.

My Very Own V-Day Horror

This really did happen – to me: Sir Jerk Alot and I had been seeing one another for almost a year, being the organised little ferret he was, SJA hit me up for a holiday – to Tasmania? I disputed – vigorously, then less vigorously – suggested an Island in the tropics might be more romantic, I’d done Tasmania years earlier and once is definitely enough! SJA had it set in his simple mind, he could make a go of it, could make it romantic.

I had only one request – no more than 4 days – anymore than 4 days and we may as well move, 4 days is my maximum holiday length! Get the point, I was pretty clear on the 4 day thing – so I thought. As we sat our bums in the plane that would take us to Tasmania, SJA looked over at me with the dopiest look I think I’ve ever seen on a face. Then the words fell out “I think I’ve made a mistake”  My head imploded, F_ck – Sh_t – C_cknocker – Motherf_cker WHAT? :: Read the full article »»»»

OK! This I Love . . .

This thing we call LOVE is baffling, it confounds me, the intricacies of relationships go straight passed me as if  suffering some form of social autism. Ask a buddy what it is, what it all means for them and your likely to come up with around 7 billion variations on an – at best – abstract thought. This in mind, I figured on going to the source for answers, the great thinker of civilisation, Socrates.

For those out of the classics: Σωκράτης, Sōkrátēs, known in the modern west simply as Socrates, is credited as one of the founders of Western philosophy, he is an enigmatic figure known in the main through the accounts of later classical writers, especially the writings of his students Plato and Xenophon, and the plays of his contemporary Aristophanes :: Read the full article »»»»

Solo SiblingsSolo sibling? No problem! according to a new US study, growing up without siblings doesn’t diminish a teens’ social skills.

The study used data from the National Study of Adolescent Health which interviewed students in grades 7 through 12 at more than 100 schools nationwide during the 1994-95 academic year. The study of more than 13,000 teens found that only children were selected as friends by schoolmates as often as youngsters with brothers and sisters.

Teens’ who took part in the study were nominated on average by five other schoolmates as a friend, with no significant differences between those who had siblings and those who did not. Stop SpittingIt’s a no brainer, Sex Makes You Smile, science and it’s never ending need to prove the obvious has come up with some twists that just might make you smile even harder. According to researchers at the State University of New York at Albany.
“Women who are directly exposed to semen are less depressed than those who are not” the ingestion of semen could reduce stress and lower depression.
Possibly due to the presence of sugar-based enzymes, such as fructose and inositol, or metabolism catalyzers, like citric acid or vitamin B12, semen intake appears to serve as a natural mood stabilizer. Another study, conducted at Yale University, found that women who swallow semen while performing oral sex are at a lower risk for developing preeclampsia, a pregnancy-related, high-blood pressure disorder. Semen contains selenium, a powerful antioxidant, possibly a contributor to the Allover Afterglow of sex? :: Read the full article »»»»
