SEXTING: WE GOT IT WRONG

We’ve enjoyed dipping our toes into the muddy pond of celebrity gossip, following great news aggregaters like TMZ and Perez Hilton, publishing filthy laundry on the private lives of very public people. Problem is sometimes the truth is just that, the plain old truth.

September 2011, looking back, it’s plain as day that something was bugging celebrities on the internet, Christina Aguilera, Mila Kunis, Renee Olstead and of course – much to our shock-horror – Scarlett Johansson, all had nude, naked, sexting pix leaked.

We along with many others, stood around surmising that the Hollywood PR machine had simply wound itself tight around a stupid idea, naked pictures of celebrities would sell movies, seems we were way of base.  In our case, we never published the Scarlett Pix, our heart just wasn’t into dishevelling such a wonderfilled actress, we did however buy into that most lurid of questions, might it all be a ruse? NSFW! Scarlett Johansson

Unfortunately it’s a dubious proposition, Johansson has a new movie out early next year, the much hyped Avengers. She’s also been a little quiet on the PR trail of late?

Regardless, the interweb is once more abuzz with naked private pictures of a celebrity. When are these people going to learn, it’s inappropriate to take naked snaps? If what you desire is a lily-white reputation, to be able to set a solid moral example for your younger more impressionable fans – DON’T TAKE THE HAPPY SNAPS!  it seems Ms Johansson has called in the FBI to track down those nasty phone hackers.

An FBI spokesman declined to confirm or deny any investigation was underway, and a representative for Ms Johansson was not available to comment.

Ms Johansson has apparently turned to her attorney Marty Singer to do the dirty work of making sure everybody in the world pulls down the dirty pix. Twilight starlet Ashley Greene is the latest female celebrity to join the “Naked Self Portrait via iPhone” swing thats going through Hollywood! Ms Greene has managed to stay relatively sweet despite the massive success of Twilight, that’s clearly just changed now that she’s got her very own set of naked pics. Greene is definitely not as rancid as our favorite Disney star Vanessa Hudgens, hold your breath though, these incidents seem to come in threes!

Greene is no prude, she’s done some pretty racey shots in the past, including the “SoBe Lifewater Girl‘ shoot that saw her lovely bones body painted.
