OK, now the dust has settled, Australia spent yesterday celebrating it’s ability to stand up for Cows, we should all be congratulated!
Unfortunately we may have missed a couple of points.
1. The rights we fought for yesterday – the right to have cattle humainly slaughtered – in Indonesia, actually doesn’t take place in 100% of Australian Abitoirs, just ask the RSPCA
2. People pay more to get into Australia than Cows pay to get out, just ask a People Smuggler
On average refugees seeking asylum in Australia pay a people smuggler $US5000, if Austalia sanctioned the export of refugees from Indonesia – cutting out the middle man, people smugglers – via cattleboat from Indonesia. Cattle at the moment are worth $400 per cow in Indonesia, the math on this isn’t Newtonian.
