A selfie of host Ellen DeGeneres with stars including Meryl Streep, Jennifer Lawrence and Bradley Cooper taken during Hollywood’s annual Academy Awards ceremony has become the most shared photo ever on Twitter.
Kevin Spacey, Julia Roberts, Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie, and new Oscar winner Lupita Nyong’o also crowded into the picture, which was snapped by Cooper after DeGeneres mingled with stars seated in the audience.

Our most favourite skinny chick – Paris Hilton – has finally dragged herself out of bed to file a cybersquatting complaint against www.parishiltonpornvideos.com, a decade after the sites registration.
According to records, www.parishiltonpornvideos.com is privately registered and has been online since December 2003. Since that time, the website has offered a multitude of ways for punters to hunt down Ms Hilton’s sex tapes.
The site currently provides links where those of that bent can stream the famed “1 Night in Paris” that depicts Hilton having sex with Rick Salomon in 2001 or “Hotel Heiress.”
As well, the site also includes historical information on Hilton and information culled from Wikipedia and a link to a CNN interview with the star and Piers Morgan :: NSFW! ADULT CONTENT WARNING :: Read the full article »»»»

Two weeks ago we asked a stupid question – not our first – Ever have one of those days? the reference was to Matthew Newtons oddball arrest in Miami over his apparent drunk and disorderly behaviour. It seems Mr Newton is pulling a Charlie on us. Not happy with just one arrest, the Aussie actor has gone back in for a heap more trouble.
Newton has been arrested again in the United States after allegedly punching a hotel clerk because he could not get reception for his smartphone. Newton must feel like it’s Wombat Day – we don’t have groundhogs here sorry – he was charged with the battery of an employee at a Miami hotel, as well as resisting arrest. U.S. hotel staff must be asking themselves wtf is it with Aussies and phones?? In 2005 Russell Crowe went on a similar – but clearly not the same – rampage in a SoHo Hotel
:: UPDATE :: In what can only be described as a No-Sh_t Sherlock moment, Miami prosecutors will investigate whether Matthew Newton is suffering from some form of mental illness :: Read the full article »»»»

We’ve enjoyed dipping our toes into the muddy pond of celebrity gossip, following great news aggregaters like TMZ and Perez Hilton, publishing filthy laundry on the private lives of very public people. Problem is sometimes the truth is just that, the plain old truth.
September 2011, looking back, it’s plain as day that something was bugging celebrities on the internet, Christina Aguilera, Mila Kunis, Renee Olstead and of course – much to our shock-horror – Scarlett Johansson, all had nude, naked, sexting pix leaked.
We along with many others, stood around surmising that the Hollywood PR machine had simply wound itself tight around a stupid idea, naked pictures of celebrities would sell movies, seems we were way of base. In our case, we never published the Scarlett Pix, our heart just wasn’t into dishevelling such a wonderfilled actress, we did however buy into that most lurid of questions, might it all be a ruse? Girls Gone Wild’s Joe Francis Sends Madonna Cease and Desist
Girls Gone Wild founder Joe Francis has sent a cease-and-desist letter to Madonna to keep her from singing her new song called “Girls Gone Wild” at the Super Bowl or else he’ll take legal action.
TMZ obtained the letter and reported that it also went to her “co-conspirators” NBC and the NFL. Francis’ lawyer is threatening to sue them for trying to get a “free ride on the valuable consumer goodwill and brand recognition” of Francis’ trademark.
Francis’ Nevada lawyer David Houston, states that he first became aware of Madonna’s new track based on the presales of her new album MDNA on iTunes and that “the number one song on the album is titled “Girls Gone Wild.'”
In the letter, Houston says “Mr. Francis and Girls Gone Wild have worked tirelessly for an excess of two decades to build his brand and to protect his trademark Girls Gone Wild,” and that “Girls Gone Wild’s trade identity and trademark are extremely valuable assets which my clients protect vigorously.” :: Read the full NSFW! article »»»»

In what can only be described as a foot-in-mouth moment Mark Wahlberg reckons he’d have had a Hollywood shot at rescuing a doomed 9/11 flight. “If I was on that plane with my kids, it wouldn’t have went down like it did,” Wahlberg told Men’s Journal. “There would have been a lot of blood in that first-class cabin and then me saying, ‘OK, we’re going to land somewhere safely, don’t worry.’” Wahlberg has since apologised for the boasting, but still believes that events may have turned out differently had he been on one of the planes that crashed on 9/11.
Wahlberg incurred the wrath of critics and one victim’s widow.
Again, just in case you missed that: In the interview, Wahlberg is quoted as saying: “If I was on that plane with my kids, it wouldn’t have went down like it did. There would have been a lot of blood in that first class cabin and then me saying, ‘OK, we’re going to land somewhere safely, don’t worry’.”
The 44-year-old was scheduled to be on one of the planes that crashed into the World Trade Centre on September 11, 2001 and made the comments in that context. But he has since issued a formal apology after a widow of one of the victims called his comments “silly and disrespectful”.
