Texas Judge Tom HeadNOTHING is bigger than Texas, nothings bolder and apparently nothing scares a Texan!? Not even foreign invasion or outright stupidity. Lubbock County Judge Tom Head reckons Texas is ready for an invasion from…. the United Nations.

Judge Head told a local Fox News station on Monday that taxes needed to be raised so the county could prepare for contingencies if US President Barack Obama is re-elected for a second term.

“Obama is going to try to hand over the sovereignty of the United States to the UN. What’s going to happen when that happens? I’m thinking worst case scenario, civil unrest, civil disobedience, civil war maybe,” Mr Head said. “What’s going happen … if the public decides to do that? He’s going to send in UN troops, I don’t want them in Lubbock County. I’m going to stand in front of their armoured personnel carriers and say ‘You’re not coming in here’.”

Rest assured though, Mr Head also told Fox News that he has the complete backing of his local sheriff ::::

The West Texas judge has proposed tax increases to help the sheriff’s office beef up it’s law enforcement, making it large enough to protect the great state of Texas and to drive away any would-be invaders.

“I don’t want rookies,” Head said flatly. “I want trained, equipped and seasoned veteran officers to back me.”

As the county’s emergency management director, Head said he has to keep a ‘worst case scenario’ in mind if Obama returns to the White House and Democrats control the Senate.

When asked if the United Nations had plans to invade Texas, UN secretary-general Ban Ki-moon’s spokesperson, Martin Nesirky, said that was “absolutely ridiculous”  …adding: “No one, not even the United Nations, would ever mess with Texas.”
